Workout Programs For Building Muscle Mass
Today, this article will cover various programs that will help you learn how to gain weight. These ideas take us back to a basics approach for building muscle, but with a twist. I hope you find these tips helpful, fun, and exciting. As always, please consult your doctor before starting any workout regimen.
Stamina Training
Working on your stamina can be very helpful and recommended before starting a muscle building training. If you can only do 20 sit-ups and you get winded, it’s time to work on your stamina first. Just like building a house, it always requires a good foundation.
Cycling
Cycling and working out can help tone your leg muscles, but most people don’t tell you that it can build muscle if you do it right. Try going on a camping trip, where you can have access to tall hill trails. For a weekend, just take your mountain bike out and climb the highest hills you can find. If you can, try using the weakest gear so you’re doing most of the work, not the bike.
Push ups
Pushups and weight training can be a great way to tone your muscles so you can start building strength. Many people hate these because it requires a lot of power to do a push up, but not now. After working out for a while and the normal way just doesn’t seem fun, it’s time to step it up a notch, with your weight equipment. Taking a 5 or 10 pound weight and placing it on your back between the shoulder blades. Do this over time by increasing the weight and your arms and shoulders will look better.
Sit-ups and you
Sit-ups have always been a good way to strengthen and build muscles, but are quite hard on the back. So man created the stomach crunch. They are great, fast, and you don’t want to take 20 aspirin when you’re done. Remember thou, go light on these at first, or you will feel like you someone hit you in the gut.
Simple Weight Lifting
Simple weight lifting and little vitamin c is a great way to build muscle, thou over looked by people who hate to do things the hard way. Remember, no pain, no gain, that’s what I always say. There are many types of equipment you can use, but I recommend the bowflex. They are great for the beginner yet powerful enough for the most advance. If your gym has these machines I jump on it first thing after stretching. Also, don’t start off at the highest weight you can get, you will just end up injuring yourself, which is no fun.
Closing
This article covered, which didn’t cover workout frequency, what to start with before building muscle through stamina training. Then few good exercises to do before hitting the equipment room, which even included camping. From here, you should have a good base to start packing on the muscle mass. I can’t stress enough the importance of baby steps, crawl before you walk. Happy building!
