By eating healthy, we will not only feel better, but in the long run, we will be healthier. If we indulge all of our wants and desires we will put weight on quickly causing our skin to stretch, thus the stretch mark is born.

We also need to exercise in order to turn our extra weight into muscle. A potential pitfall is thinking you can just exercise by yourself. For most women we need the support of friends or other women who have the same goals as ourselves. You should schedule weekly exercise meets with friends or join a local group of women in your community who walk together. Another good idea is to join a gym, or class. There are many different types of classes from yoga to kickboxing. Try a variety of classes until you find what you enjoy.

Another very important factor for women to remember is to drink lots of water. You may not realize how beneficial this is for you and your body. You should at the very least be drinking eight glasses of water a day, preferably more. When exercising you tend to sweat out a lot of your body’s fluid, in order to stay hydrated you need more fluids.

So know that you know how to properly put on weight get to work. Many women tend to feel out of control, but by taking these small steps and making simple adjustments in your life you will feel empowered and in charge. Take full responsibility for your beautiful body and embrace your flaws, because if you will not how can others. Try it for six weeks at least and I promise you will feel good about yourself and your health.
